“We feel so unbelievably lucky to have found Laura and Mells Muddy Munchkins. Over the past three years, our now four-year-old son has had the most wonderful, nurturing and joy-filled start. The care, love and thought Laura puts into every single day is so special – it feels like a little magical world for the children. The outdoor adventures are a huge highlight – puddle jumping, muddy exploring and discovering nature – and the creative activities are always so imaginative and inspiring. Every day brings something new and exciting, and you can see how much confidence the children gain from what they create and learn. Laura’s home is warm and cosy, with beautifully and thoughtfully chosen toys that encourage calm, meaningful moments as well as fun, social play with friends. Her garden is an absolute children’s paradise, full of exciting activities, playful corners and little worlds to explore. We’ve seen such a lovely growth in confidence, independence and happiness and are so grateful for the beautiful start our son has had here. “Both our girls have attended Muddy Munchkins over the years and I have nothing but huge gratitude for Laura and the service she provides. The activities she puts on for the children are varied and wonderfully playful. She evidently loves caring for children and nurturing their development. The amount of learning and research Laura doesn’t on a monthly basis is staggering. She fills the gaps in play that we are unable to provide as busy parents. The food she give them is always varied and well received by the girls, things which we have struggled to get them to eat. Thank you Laura for all your hard work. “Laura cared for our eldest from infancy to school age, overlapping with our youngest, who calls her ‘his Laura’. To have both our children together in a setting that is both a loving family home and an indoor and outdoor space designed to soothe and instil wonder in preschool age children is the most amazing privilege. Laura has a way of converting all her knowledge about children’s early mental and physical development into simple, enjoyable play. Our children love their time with her. “Our daughter has been with Laura for the past three years and absolutely loves everything about Mells Muddy Munchkins. We were so lucky to find Laura, who is the most amazing human being. The way she nurtures the children is awe inspiring, treating each child as an individual and encouraging them to learn and explore in the beautiful village of Mells. From such a young age they explore art with an artist of the month, music, with a composer of the month, the seasons, yoga, nature, enjoy daily walks in the beautiful countryside.
